Last updated: 24 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data may be processed in apps provided by Ioannis Kontoprias. It is written with EU/GDPR requirements in mind and is intended to be clear and understandable.

Controller / Responsible Contact

The controller responsible for data processing described in this policy is:

Ioannis Kontoprias
Email: ioanniskontoprias@gmail.com

Apps Covered by This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the following apps:

General Principles

Personal data is processed only where needed to provide app functionality, synchronization, support, security, app improvement, or legal obligations where applicable. Personal data is not sold.

Locally stored data remains on the user's device unless the user exports it, shares it, backs it up, or enables cloud/account features. If cloud sync or account mode is used, required data may be stored on a server to provide login, backup, synchronization, and multi-device access.

Purposes of Processing

Depending on the app and selected features, data may be processed for these purposes:

App-Specific Sections

Use these links to jump to the app-specific information:

App Section

Tetragon

Tetragon is a tile, room, and floor planning app. It may store project data such as rooms, areas, wall measurements, tile sizes, grout widths, layouts, cut lists, project names, and generated PDF or export data.

This data is mainly used to create, save, edit, and export planning projects. If the app is used locally, data stays on the user's device unless the user exports, shares, or backs it up manually.

If cloud sync or account features are added later, this policy will be updated before or when those features become available.

App Section

Rentor

Rentor is an app for owners and managers of vacation rentals. Users can manage rental objects, bookings, customers, payments, cleaning plans, and related business data.

If a user creates an account, account data such as email address, username, and password in protected form may be stored. The app may store customer data entered by the user, such as names, contact details, addresses, booking dates, payment information, and rental object information.

The purpose is to manage reservations, customers, payments, and rental-related operations. The app can be used locally or with an account/cloud sync, depending on the selected mode.

App Section

BudgetPal

BudgetPal is a personal finance app. It may store accounts, balances, opening balances, transactions, categories, subcategories, recurring transaction rules, payment, income, expense data, and user preferences.

The purpose is to help the user manage personal finances, statistics, and budgets. If cloud sync or account mode is used, the data may be stored on a server for synchronization between devices.

BudgetPal does not need banking login data unless such a feature is explicitly added later.

App Section

TrackAware

TrackAware is a track-day and motorsport awareness app. It may process live location data while the user actively uses driving or spectator features.

It may store or transmit driver profile information such as driver name, vehicle/profile details, selected color, favorites, and optional social links, if the user enters them. Live position data is used to show drivers, spectators, warnings, track position, and safety-related information.

Location data should only be processed while the user actively uses the relevant feature. Other users in the same session may be able to see the driver's approximate position and profile while the feature is active.

Local Storage, Cloud Sync and Accounts

Some app data may be stored locally on the user's device. Local-only data can usually be deleted by deleting the data inside the app or uninstalling the app.

For apps with cloud sync or account mode, required data may be stored on a server to provide login, backup, synchronization, and multi-device access. Account-related data may include identifiers such as email address, username, authentication data in protected form, and the app data needed for synchronization.

Data Retention

Data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless longer retention is legally required. Local data remains on the device until the user deletes it or uninstalls the app.

Server-side account or sync data is kept while the account or sync feature is active, and may be deleted after a deletion request where no legal retention requirement applies. Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited time before it is overwritten or removed according to backup cycles.

Data Sharing / Processors

Personal data is not sold. Technical service providers may process data only where needed for hosting, synchronization, support, security, or app functionality.

Depending on the app and selected features, data may be processed by hosting providers, authentication providers, synchronization services, app store providers, crash or support tools, or similar processors. These providers should process data only for the relevant technical or support purpose.

International Data Transfers, If Applicable

Some technical service providers may process data outside the user's country or outside the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be used, such as adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards. The exact transfer situation may depend on the services used for a specific app or feature.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No app or online service can guarantee absolute security, but security is considered when designing app features and account/sync functionality.

User Rights Under GDPR

Where GDPR applies, users may have the right to:

To exercise these rights, contact ioanniskontoprias@gmail.com. Users may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of account or server-side data by contacting ioanniskontoprias@gmail.com.

Local-only data can usually be deleted by deleting the relevant data in the app or uninstalling the app. Some deleted data may remain in backups for a limited time before it is removed through normal backup retention cycles.

Children's Privacy

The apps are not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children where parental consent would be required. If you believe that a child has provided personal data without the required consent, please contact the controller so the situation can be reviewed.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when apps, features, data practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. It will be updated if new apps, cloud features, third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or AI services are added later.
